Conversely, a "full fuse" entails heating the glass until it reaches a molten state. The key to successful fusing lies in using a special type of glass, ensuring compatibility among different glasses within a project.
At Creative Elements of Expressions we prioritize the use of Bullseye glass in our fusing process. This choice ensures that all the glass we incorporate into our artworks shares a consistent Coefficient of Expansion (COE), guaranteeing compatibility and optimal results during the fusing process. It's noteworthy that while the terms "fusing" and "kilnforming" are often used interchangeably, fusing is just one of many kilnforming methods. Additionally, while "kiln-glass" and "fused glass" are sometimes used interchangeably, we prefer to reserve "fused glass" for finished projects that have undergone the kiln process and fused with another piece of glass. The realm of fused glass art is wonderfully diverse, ranging from slumped bowls and platters to pieces incorporating printed imagery, showcasing the limitless possibilities the creative mind can conceive and bring to life.

To maintain the longevity of your fused glass artwork, it is not recommended to microwave or place in the dishwasher. Microwaves can cause thermal shock, leading to cracks. Dishwashers can etch glass, causing scratches and cloudiness over time.
